McKinsey & Company promotes three partners in France
McKinsey & Company France has promoted three of its partners to senior partner level.
Karim Tadjeddine has been with the global strategic management consulting firm since 2006, having previously worked in the Treasury Department in the French Ministry of Finance. He focuses on the public sector, and is co-lead of the Public Sector practice in France, and one of the main figures in McKinsey’s global Public Sector practice.
Tadjeddine specialises in performance improvement and large-scale change management, and has led several extensive transformation programs for public institutions including central government, local government and state-owned entities. In addition, he is an economic-development expert and advises governments and state owned enterprises in Europe and Africa on the setup and implementation of national and sector-level economic policies.
Stéphane Bout re-joined McKinsey & Company in 2013, having previously served the firm between 1999 and 2003. In between his two spells at the US-headquartered strategy consultant, he worked as Group IT Vice President at Spanish tobacco manufacturer Altadis and latterly as Chief Information Officer of French grocery giant Casino. Earlier in his career, Bout spent six years at Accenture.
The newly appointed senior partner specialises in IT strategy, digital transformation and IT operating models. He has gained extensive experience serving clients across sectors in France and beyond.
Nicolas Maechler meanwhile has extensive expertise in transformations within the marketing and sales functions, specialising in customer-experience improvement issues, sales optimisation, omnichannel strategy, cost rationalisation and sales force effectiveness.
During his 22 years at McKinsey, Maechler has worked with clients across sectors, and in the past decade focused on organisations in the telecom, media, and high tech sectors. Based in Paris, he leads the Marketing & Sales practice in France, and is the lead of the firm’s TMT practice across the EMEA region.
Commenting on their promotion, Homayoun Hatami, managing director of McKinsey in France, said: “Beyond the successes they have managed to achieve at clients, Karim, Stéphane and Nicolas also stand out for their unique contribution to the intellectual capital of our firm.”
