YESS International Consultants joins Boer & Croon

YESS International Consultants has joined the executive search practice of Boer & Croon. 

It was back in 1989 when Egon Zehnder, one of the globe’s leading executive search firms in the world, founded YESS International Consultants in the Netherlands with the aim of helping professionals progress through the early and mid-stages of their career. 

Egon Zehnder used the multi-label strategy to differentiate between its offerings. While its namesake flagship label focuses on boardroom and senior management placements, mostly commissioned by corporates, YESS International Consultants focuses on top talent in the segment for young professionals and aspiring managers.

After going independent a few years ago, YESS built out its profile in the market, positioning itself as a broad executive search firm focused on a wide variety of industries and functions. Meanwhile, the firm managed to grow its team to twelve recruitment consultants and staff.

The decision to join forces with Boer & Croon builds on “several successful collaborations over the past years,” said Edith Koetsier, Managing Partner of YESS and a veteran in the executive search industry. Having started her career in research (Ipsos) and consulting (EY VODW), she joined YESS seventeen years ago and has been with the firm ever since.

This period of working together shed light on the benefits of a more structural cooperation, and confirmed the similar “values, culture and ambitions” of the two firms, a belief which was shared by leaders at the other side of the table. For Boer & Croon, the deal significantly bolsters its headhunting practice, while for YESS, the move enables it to widen its impact as it can now tap into Boer & Croon’s extensive network of clients in the private and public sector.
