Jean Paul Hokke, a veteran in the Dutch consulting industry, has joined a boutique executive headhunter.

Hokke brings more than three decades of experience in management consulting to recruiter and headhunter Leaders Trust. He spent more than eight years with Capgemini Invent (at the time Capgemini Consulting), and later went on to work for counterparts Capco and IG&H as a partner.

He most recently worked briefly as an independent consultant, focused on what is his main area of specialisation: financial services. At Capgemini, he latterly headed the firm’s Financial Services practice.

At Capco, Hokke was managing partner of the firm’s Dutch practice, building the team from the ground to over 40 people. At IG&H, he was a partner in its vertical dedicated to banks and insurance companies.

Appointed a partner at Leaders Trust, Hokke will now leverage his experience in consulting and financial services to grow the firm’s headhunting profile in the Netherlands. He focuses on placements in the banking, insurance, fintech, private equity, as well as professional services and technology segments.

Leaders Trust, which is based in the small town of Driebergen (close to Utrecht), was founded in 1990 by Albert Froom, the current managing partner. He is regarded as one of the Netherlands’ leading headhunters and is co-founder of AltoPartners, now an international player which according to Business Week ranks as one of the 150 most influential recruitment firms in the world.

Commenting on Hokke’s appointment, Froom said: “Our team is renowned for our considered approach to executive search and interim management and our in-depth approach to executive assessments and succession pipelines. We are excited about Jean Paul joining us – he will help us add value to our clients in the Netherlands and across Europe.”

Hokke becomes the firm’s third partner, alongside Froom and Pieter Ysbrandy, another former consultant focused on the financial service sector. He previously served KPMG, Boer & Croon and IG&H.
