Fountech Solutions has launched across Cyprus, the US and the UK, to help clients drive growth through artificial intelligence. The new technology consultancy is a subsidiary of Fountech.

Parent company Fountech was established four years ago as an AI think-tank, aimed at using analysis to break down regulatory barriers to AI adoption across the world. “AI is lagging way behind its potential; we want to inform and encourage much greater innovation. It’s as if mankind just invented the wheel, but over-regulation, especially within the EU just now, is applying the brakes,” explains the firm’s website.

With these goals in mind, the firm’s latest subsidiary Fountech Solutions is looking to solve a variety of business problems using AI. Solutions span a wide range of sectors, and vary based on context. For instance, the firm offers AI-based EdTech services in the education space, learning and development support in the human resources space and AI-based claim management tools in the insurance sector.

Other examples include AI-based car batteries in the automotive industry, clinical trials in the medical sphere, and proof of value for legal services. This broad base of expertise will now support clients across the globe, from Fountech Solutions’ bases in Austin, Texas; London, England; and Limassol, Cyprus.

The firm is geared to serve a market in pressing need of AI support. Studies have shown that bridging the AI gap can generate billions for economies, be it in the retail, banking or energy space. As a result, investment in AI has been going through the roof in recent years – in Europe, well over 100 AI deals are being notched each year.

Fountech Solutions will now look to serve this vibrant market, under the leadership of chief operating officer Ero Georgiades, who is based in the firm’s Cyprus office. Georgiades has more than two decades of experience in the IT services world, focused on partnerships and business development, having worked at leading firms such as Synovate, Dinabite and Prospex. She joined Fountech as COO in 2017, and now takes the helm of Fountech Solutions.

“AI is perhaps the single most exciting technology businesses are working with today. It has the ability to completely transform the world around us – and for the better. Yet many organisations and their management teams lack the skills and knowledge of how to use and implement AI. Fountech Solutions will enable them to overcome these challenges by providing all the guidance and expertise they need under one roof,” said Georgiades.

CEO at parent company Fountech Nick Kairinos revealed that the launch was a long time coming. “We are delighted to unveil Fountech Solutions. For years, our team of AI experts have been consulting on and creating bespoke technology solutions for organisations around the world under the Fountech banner. The formal creation of Fountech Solutions marks an exciting new chapter, giving us a much clearer brief as a global end-to-end consultancy for business wanting or needing to adopt AI.”
