International accounting and advisory alliance Geneva Group International (GGI) has added two new member firms in Europe.

Geneva Group International already had a presence in France, through alliances with Hans & Associés, a firm with 30 offices across the North of France; Aliantis, a firm with six offices in the Rhône-Alpes region; Paris-headquartered firms Herald, DAS, Fidag and Troy & Associés; and Valbonne-based Anthony & Cie.

The addition of Arcéane adds a presence in five cities: Paris, Lille, Lyon, Nantes and Bordeaux. Arcéane is an M&A consulting firm that advises managers and shareholders of small and medium-sized businesses on acquisitions, divestitures, financial engineering and corporate finance, and fundraising. The consultancy specialises in the IT, technology, distribution, and manufacturing sectors.

Arcéane is led by around ten senior professionals, most of whom are former business owners or have a dealmaking background in investment banking, private equity or the larger M&A consultancies.

Meanwhile, in Italy, M&A boutique Milano Global Advisors (MGA) has become a member of Geneva Group International. With the partnership, MGA aims to develop a global offering for its client base, which is internationalising and serving an increasingly global consumer base.

MGA has offices in Milan and Rome, and is led by Cesare Suglia, Cesare Suglia, Umberto Orazio Ruta, Andrea Mifsud and Stefano de Nart. The firm specialises in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, transaction support and fundraising. The consultancy also has experts specialised in real estate and legal.

Previously, Milano Global Advisors was part of the Kreston network. “We joined Geneva Capital Group to be able to better develop our business strategy, and continue our growth path already started,” explained Stefano de Nart.

The latest additions come shortly after Geneva Group International significantly ramped up its presence in India by welcoming Evas Internation, Chessy Consultants and RJV Adviors to its network.

Globally, Geneva Group International has over 29,000 professionals in 126 countries working at around 600 member companies, generating a combined turnover of $5.6 billion.
