Peter Egeberg Moller re-joins Axxsys as Chief Innovation Officer

Four years after leaving the firm, Peter Egeberg Moller has re-joined Axxsys Consulting as Chief Innovation Officer, based in the firm’s Copenhagen office. 

Moller previously spent over seven years with Axxsys Consulting in its London office. During those years, he played a significant role in helping Axxsys Consulting grow the business to where it is today. Latterly a partner, he led multiple end-to-end projects and solution implementations at European asset owners and asset managers.

In the intervening years, Moller worked for PFA Asset Management, one of the largest asset managers in Denmark, first as Head of Fund Management and latterly as an Executive Advisor to the Board of Directors of the unit. 

Commenting on his return, Axxsys Consulting’s Chief Commercial Officer Philip Ritchie said: “We are excited to have Peter back on the team. He is well respected and an experienced executive and has extensive experience of leading people and facilitating organisational and business change in the investment management industry.” 

“During his time at Axxsys, Peter consistently demonstrated a strong track record of ensuring focus on the execution of strategic projects and improving business processes, covering the entire value chain from trade/order management to back office activities,” he continued.

In his new role, Moller will focus on advancing the firm’s offerings, tools and methodologies. He will also seek to continue the development of the ‘Axxsys Axxelerator’ platform – a proprietary ‘toolkit’ that comprises modules designed to fast-track the development of target operating models, business processes & analysis, technology package implementations and project delivery frameworks. 

“Since Axxsys Consulting began back in 2003, we’ve grown our knowledge of the investment management industry to encompass all its aspects. We’ve harnessed that knowledge to develop the Axxsys Axxelerator platform,” explained Moller. “Leveraging my experience in senior client-side roles at PFA Asset management, I believe I can take the Axxsys Axxelerator offering to the next level.”

Axxsys Consulting is a consulting firm dedicated to the global investment management community. The consultancy is a subsidiary of Alpha FMC, a UK-listed player which acquired Axxsys in the summer of last year. 

The 50-strong consultancy (offices in the UK, Denmark, the US and Canada) is led by Alix Cheema and Kjell Johan Nordgard.
