Monitor Deloitte has a new boss in France. Stéphane Bazoche succeeds Thomas Croisier, who led Deloitte’s French strategy consulting division for six years.
Stéphane Bazoche brings nearly two decades of strategy consulting experience to the role, eight of which were gained at Monitor Deloitte across two spells. Appointed Managing Partner per the 1st of the September, Bazoche has been tasked with continuing the growth path delivered under his predecessor, with the aim of emulating Monitor Deloitte’s reputation and market presence in leading markets such as the US and UK.
In the US for instance, Monitor Deloitte – which formed in 2013 after Deloitte bought Monitor Group – ranks in terms of prestige as one of the top six strategy consultants, behind the MBB of McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company, but alongside Oliver Wyman and Kearney, and ahead of the likes of EY Parthenon, L.E.K. Consulting, Roland Berger and Strategy&,
“In the strategy, management & operations consulting segment of the United States, Monitor Deloitte is a leader. We must have the same ambition in France,” he said to French portal Consultor.
Bazoche leads a team of around 100 partners, consultants and staff. “Thomas has built an exceptional team in France and I am delighted to step into his shoes.”
The new Managing Partner started his career at Télécom Paris, and stepped into the world of strategy consulting through Boston Consulting Group (BCG), which he joined in 2000. He spent six years at BCG, to then serve as CEO of JDI Fashion, a distributor of children's clothing, before returning to the industry. Bazoche joined Monitor Group, but when the niche strategy firm was absorbed by Deloitte, he left for McKinsey & Company.
Returning to Monitor Deloitte in 2015, Bazoche spent the past five years climbing the ranks, now topping his career off with the top role nationally. He reports to Rédouane Bellefqih. Managing Partner of Deloitte Consulting, who previously led the firm’s Technology division and now since the 1st of September leads the entire consulting division.
What Thomas Croisier is doing next is at the time of writing unknown. He has been with Monitor Deloitte (and Monitor Group) for two decades, taking on the top role from Nitin Chaturvedi, who currently is a partner at Bain & Company in the UK.
Earlier this year, Monitor Deloitte admitted Bruno de Saint-Florent and Fabien Delon into its French partnership.
