Simon-Kucher & Partner has opened an office in Oslo, its third in Scandinavia and twenty-first in Europe.

The German-origin management consulting firm first launched in the Nordics in 2010, when it established an on the ground presence in Copenhagen, Denmark. Four years ago a second hub was added in Stockholm, Sweden, and to meet growing demand in the region the consultancy has now also launched in the Norwegian capital.

“With so many sectors impacted by Covid-19, companies have recognised the importance of commercial agility and a strong focus on revenue and profit. Our expertise in these areas means our services are in high demand,” said Mark Billige, the chief executive officer of Simon-Kucher

“For a number of years we have offered our consulting services for Norwegian customers from our offices in Copenhagen and Stockholm. Our Olso office is dedicated to delivering value for our Norwegian customers,” he added.

Launched in 1985, Simon-Kucher & Partners focuses exclusively on what it calls the ‘sunny-side of consulting’ – helping clients with improving their top-line growth. The firm’s consultants specialises in growth, sales & marketing strategy, commercial optimisation and pricing. Globally, the fast growing firm has over 1,400 consultants and staff working from 40 offices worldwide.

The office in Oslo will be headed by Nicolai Broby Eckert, currently a partner in Simon-Kucher’s Copenhagen office. Prior to joining the consultancy, he worked around fifteen years at counterparts PA Consulting and Implement Consulting Group.

Eckert is joined by Håkon Sæberg, an experienced consultant who previously served Bain & Company and held a leadership position at consumer goods company Orkla, tasked with building and developing the Norwegian business. Sæberg has been appointed a Senior Director and will head Simon-Kucher’s Nordic Consumer & Retail practice.
