Alexander Nedelchev joins Strategy& Germany as a partner
Alexander Nedelchev has joined PwC’s strategy consulting wing Strategy& as a partner in its Deals practice.
The 48-year-old brings over two decades of experience in the consulting industry to the firm, gained at a host of leading and boutique consultancies. After starting his career at Bain & Company, where he spent five years across its offices in Germany and Ukraine, Nedelchev worked for a boutique consultancy and spent a number of years in industry.
In 2009 he joined Barkawi Management Consultants, a 250-strong supply chain specialist (now part of Genpact), where he grew the ranks to Managing Partner, and Head of its Operations Excellence practice. The past four years saw him hold partner roles at Deloitte in its Strategy & Operations division, and Roland Berger in its Performance Improvement practice.
Munich-based Nedelchev specialises in transformation and performance optimisation, pre-merger planning and post-merger integration, supply chain and operating model transformation. He advises private sector clients, with a focus on consumer goods and retail, and private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Commenting on the appointment, Strategy& partner Bernd Jung said: “With Alexander, we are expanding our deals advisory and private equity offerings. We look forward to working with him on helping our clients with their strategic development and transformation programs.”
