Jeannine Peek country leader of Capgemini in the Netherlands
The Dutch arm of Capgemini has named Jeannine Peek as its new Country Managing Director. She succeeds Hans van Waayenburg, who transitions to the role of Chairman.
Jeannine Peek brings nearly three decades of experience in the technology and ICT sector to the IT services giant. She joins Capgemini from Dell Technologies, where she spent more than nine years at the helm of the Dutch organisation. She previously held roles as Regional Vice President for Dell Technologies in Western Europe.
Earlier in her career, she held various sales and management roles in at among others KPN and WorldCom, and served as CEO at Unique. She also held (holds) several non-executive roles, including board member at NL Digital (the professional body of the Dutch ICT sector), board member at the National Register, and board member at the Data Protection Authority.
Commenting on the appointment, Michael Schulte, CEO of Capgemini's Northern Europe business unit and member of the Group Executive Board said: “Jeannine is an experienced and talented leader. We are delighted to welcome her to Capgemini. Under her leadership we will be well positioned to further expand our footprint in the Netherlands.”
In the Netherlands, Capgemini has around 5,500 employees. The firm operates from offices in Utrecht, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Eindhoven, Groningen and Heerlen.
The firm’s management and digital consulting arm, Capgemini Invent, is led by Liesbeth Bout.
