Bain & Company appoints five partners in Munich and Zurich

Global strategy consulting Bain & Company has in the past months appointed five new partners in the DACH region – two partners in Germany, and three in Switzerland. 

Maximilian Doms is a partner in Bain & Company’s Private Equity practice, based in Munich. He specialises in mergers & acquisitions, and advises private equity funds and corporate clients with a focus on industrials, healthcare, and software/technology. In addition, he is involved in strategy development and value creation planning for private equity portfolio companies.

Ingo Janisch has been with the global strategy consulting firm for over a decade, and is a partner in the firm’s Insurance practice. The Munich-based expert supports clients on a wide range of projects, particularly across strategy, transformation, corporate insurance and distribution. Prior to joining Bain, Janisch worked in distribution-related roles in the insurance sector for four years. 

Stephan Erni has been with Bain in Zurich since 2016, having previously served UBS and PwC, among others. Erni is a partner in the Banking practice, and supports clients with group and segment strategies as well as the setup and development of business and operating models. In addition, he works on M&A transactions and merger integration, carve-outs and transformations. 

Luca Fabris began his career at Bain & Company in 2007, following a four-year spell in investment banking. A partner in the Consumer Products practice, based in Zurich, Fabris has extensive experience with agile transformation, performance improvement, and commercial excellence, route-to-market strategy, distributor management, and sales force optimisation. 

Markus Habbel re-joined Bain more than two decades after leaving the firm. In between, he worked for McKinsey & Company for eleven years and at UBS for nine years, latterly serving as the CFO of its EMEA division. Habbel is a Zurich-based partner focused on the financial services industry, specialising in wealth management and CFO services.
