Delta Capita acquires International Compliance Partners
International consulting firm, technology solutions and managed services provider Delta Capita has bolstered its financial crime offerings with the acquisition of Netherlands-based International Compliance Partners.
The bolt-on comes within six months of Delta Capita’s purchase of Voogt Pijl & Partners, a leading Dutch boutique consultancy to the financial services industry. The addition of International Compliance Partners adds another 50 professionals to its team, lifting its headcount in the Benelux to over 120.
Founded in 2008, International Compliance Partners supports its clients with consultancy, training and auditing services, with a focus on the risk & compliance domain. The firm is particularly known for its expertise in financial crime including know your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML). While it serves clients across industries, financial services is the firm’s key vertical.
“Bringing the strong team of International Compliance Partners on board will scale our KYC and AML business to the next level,” said Tom Kastelein, the CEO of Delta Capita in the Benelux. Across its five offices globally, Delta Capita now has over 200 experts dedicated to financial crime topics, from strategy through to implementation and digital services.
The move also extends Delta Capita’s learning & development capabilities. “The Academy of International Compliance Partners enables us to not only train and develop our own teams quickly and with high quality standards, but also enables client teams to develop with tailor-made learning programs.”
Delta Capita’s expert offerings in financial crime are underpinned by a technology platform business, which includes Karbon, a solution for streamlining KYC activities at banks.
“The joining of forces provides our clients with a strong partner to achieve their compliance obligations,” said Kastelein. Meanwhile it provides the teams of both companies – who share “likeminded professional values” and have “a similar culture” to broaden their horizon and career development.
As part of the integration, the senior management team of International Compliance Partners will become leaders in Delta Capita’s Benelux KYC practice. One of these leaders, Harm Groot Kormelink, said: “We are excited to join the Delta Capita organisation and be able to benefit from existing competences, international position and technology capabilities.”
Delta Capita is the financial services division of the technology group Prytek.
