BrazilCIVITTA expands into Kosovo with Envision Consulting bolt-on
Pan-European consulting firm CIVITTA has expanded into Kosovo, its 16th market in Europe – through the joining of forces with local player Envision Consulting.
Since founding in 2000 in Estonia, CIVITTA has seen its footprint grow to over 300 consultants and experts across 25+ offices. Geographic expansion into new countries has been an integral part of its internationalisation strategy, as well as bolting-on domestic consultancies, which it has now repeated in Kosovo to add a greenfield locale to its mix.
Based in Kosovo’s capital city of Pristina, Envision Consulting is a boutique consultancy specialised in corporate finance and financial advisory research services. The firm’s team of economists, quantitative finance experts and consultants work mainly for the private sector, serving domestic and overseas headquartered companies.
“With immense expertise and profound academic background in financial analysis, we are capable of conducting the most complex corporate finance services including business plans, feasibility studies, financial due diligence, financial mathematical modelling and market research,” said Vigan Ramadani, the founder of Envision Consulting.
Asked why the firm has teamed up with CIVITTA, Ramadani said, “We expect to increase our business activity. We also expect to grow our professional skills through sharing knowledge with other offices and build on the best practices they have amassed across 10,000+ completed projects in 40+ countries.”
He added that the two firms enjoy a similar culture – “the decision to integrate into the CIVITTA family was from a people perspective majorly based on the ‘challenger spirit’ of the company which we also share.”
Under the wings of CIVITTA, the Kosovo team aims to grow into an office with “15 to 20 employees working on different projects in different workstreams.” Part of this growth will be realised through diversification into the public sector, leveraging CIVITTA’s network and track record in the space. “We are currently hiring and developing a team with CIVITTA’s assistance,” said Ramadani.
Located in the heart of the Balkans, Kosovo has a population of around 1.8 million.
