Arjan Bom joins Dutch financial services consultancy Mount

Boutique Dutch consultancy Mount Consulting has strengthened its team with former Big Four professional Arjan Bom.

The financial services consultancy was founded just 15 months ago by a trio of experienced consultants, and has since seen its portfolio go from strength to strength. The firm specialises in helping CFO’s and CRO’s in the banking, insurance and wealth management segments with their business transformations in the area of finance, risk, data management and technology architecture. 

The arrival of Arjan Bom bolsters the firm’s offerings in regulatory compliance and reporting with a focus on the banking and insurance segments. During his seven-year tenure at EY, the University of Leiden graduate gained extensive experience in these topics across a range of corporate clients, including multinationals. 

His track record includes helping clients with: designing and modernising operating models for risk and compliance functions, ensuring data quality reporting to the supervisory authorities, leading the implementation of a straight-through reporting framework, and handling the compliance and reporting aspects during a banking license applications process.
