Altman Solon appoints partners and directors across Europe
Altman Solon, a strategic consulting firm focused exclusively on the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sectors, has appointed four partners and directors across its European offices in the UK, Germany and Italy.
In the UK, Altman Solon last week hired Felix Lepetit from Deloitte Consulting, where he worked for fifteen years, latterly as a Director in its TMT practice. At the Big Four firm, he worked with major consumer, news, and B2B content publishers on adapting their business and organisational models to the transforming digital landscape.
Appointed a Director, Lepetit will focus on advising clients on transformation, strategy, performance improvement and mergers & acquisitions.
Earlier this year in its London office, Altman Solon promoted cloud IT and software expert Phillip Morse to partner. He has been with the consulting firm since June 2020, joining from EY-Parthenon shortly before Altman Solon was formed following the merger between US-based Altman Vilandrie & Co and Europe-based Solon Management Consulting.
Morse has a wealth of TMT consulting experience as a strategy and commercial due diligence advisor for leading private equity investors and corporations.
Meanwhile, in Germany, Altman Solon promoted media and digital expert Florian Rapp to Director. Rapp has been with the firm since 2012, and works with traditional and digital video, publishing, and entertainment players, as well as leading digital commerce companies, for which he supports growth, digitisation and product & pricing strategies.
In addition, Rapp advises private equity and corporate investors in the media and digital space.
In Italy, infrastructure expert Emil Arnell has recently been promoted to partner. He founded Altman Solon’s Milan office in 2019 and has a led the firm’s growth in the Italian market. Prior to joining Altman Solon, Arnell spent more a decade at rival TMT strategic consulting firm Analysys Mason.
Arnell has deep industry knowledge in infrastructure (fiber optics, mobile and broadcast towers, data centers), B2B services (cloud, connectivity), and B2C services (broadband, pay-TV, free-to-air TV).
