BearingPoint partners with LeadershipRebels for MT alignment
BearingPoint has entered into a partnership with LeadershipRebels, a Dutch consultancy focused on building alignment and engagement within management teams.
Open up any research into what makes or breaks a transformation, and leadership is without a doubt one of the key success factors advocated. During a change process, leaders are expected to define a vision for transition, lead by example, ensure that project teams can do their work effectively and that employees on the work floor are supportive of the change, and remain engaged.
However, at the same time, ensuring this leadership commitment and alignment is one of the most challenging topics for change ambassadors. This is where LeadershipRebels comes in – the firm’s consultants specialise in shaping the right leadership behaviour. The firm provides consultancy, coaching, and has a number of interventions, tools and serious games that support its approach.
According to Jascha Kamstra, a Manager at BearingPoint in the Netherlands, adding this expertise to the firm’s offering will enrich its end-to-end change management approach. The partnership will see the firms work together on projects, and see BearingPoint add two of LeadershipRebels’ interventions – Management Team Poker and the MT Manifesto – to its own toolkit.
The collaboration will in particular be sought in the areas of digital and agile transformation – two areas where “fundamentally different leadership models and behaviour are required for success” said Lucas van Luijtelaar, a Manager at BearingPoint in the Netherlands.
Bridging this gap, LeadershipRebels has developed a specific offering that applies the SAFe methodology in a management team setting and a unique way for canvassing agile leadership principles towards other tiers of management. The same applies for digital transformation.
With over 5,000 consultants globally, BearingPoint is one of the globe’s larger consultancies dedicated to delivering transformation and managing change. The LeadershipRebels partnership is led by its Dutch practice, which is around 60-strong and operates out of an Amsterdam office.
Jeroen Stoter, founder of LeadershipRebels said: “We are very excited to partner with BearingPoint on leadership development in digital and agile transformations. We both value people centricity in our approach. With the combined expertise we can deliver our clients best in class transformations to become a high performing organisation.”
