DELIVER names PwC knowledge partner of its flagship event
Europe’s leading event for the retail e-logistics industry, DELIVER, has named PwC its knowledge partner for the 2021 edition of its flagship event to be held in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam.
Launched six years ago, DELIVER brings together executives and leaders from Europe’s e-commerce and logistics landscape, with the aim of informing them on the latest trends and insights in the landscape, providing them with the platform to learn and share best practices, and facilitating (commercial) networking opportunities.
DELIVER organises several offline and online events throughout the year, with this year’s flagship event in Amsterdam (6 and 7 October 2021) to welcome over 1,000 decision makers and over 80 major companies and providers in the e-logistics chain. Participants will be served a rich programme including keynotes, interactive workshops and masterclasses sessions, one-to-one meetings, and not to forget, some entertainment.
“The rapid pace of innovation in e-commerce, logistics, and retail is driving organisations to transform their strategies and operating models. Understanding this new world and embracing innovation and new ways of working are critical to improving growth, effectiveness, customer experience and compliance,” said Stephane Tomczak, the CEO and Founder of DELIVER (and a former consultant at PMP in France).
The content agenda of DELIVER’s Amsterdam event is fuelled by several thought leaders in the e-logistics industry, with PwC – a global accounting and consulting firm with 284,000 people worldwide – appointed the knowledge partner. “PwC has a clear vision and an innovative angle on the industry and its key developments,” said Tomczak.
“PwC brings deep industry experience, a broad range of business services and cutting-edge client insights,” he added. The knowledge partnership will be led by PwC’s Consulting team in the Netherlands, supported by experts from across its international network, as well as by Strategy& – the group’s strategic consulting outfit.
A recent survey of 1,500 managers in the Netherlands named PwC Consulting one of the country’s top consultancies for e-business advisory. Meanwhile, in the UK, the Financial Times named PwC Consulting a leading player in both the retail and logistics domains. The firm enjoys a similar leading position in other major European countries.
Jennifer Nelen, a partner at PwC Netherlands said: “Our new world requires now, more than ever, a community of collaboration within the retail, e-commerce, and logistics industry to successfully respond to market shifts and disruption. We are teaming up with DELIVER to enable this community to successfully respond to market shifts and disruptions to continuously create sustained value and build trust for businesses, customers, and the broader society.”
