SparkOptimus welcomes five professionals to its Dutch team
European digital strategy consultancy SparkOptimus has welcomed three new Associates and two Associate Interns to its team in the Netherlands.
Deepayan Roy joined the consulting firm at the start of August, having completed his Master’s degree in Management at INSEAD in France and Singapore. Before that, Roy obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering with a major in Artificial Intelligence in India.
During his studies, Roy founded a startup that helps reduce food waste in retail environments, and in France, he launched a start-up that helps foreign students with preparing and managing their applications for Masters programs.
Commenting on his first months at SparkOptimus, Roy said: “As Associate, I work with global companies and drive digital transformation initiatives among others to help them thrive and lead in the digital age.”
Gaius Hugenholtz joined at the start of September, having obtained a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Earlier, he gained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics at the University of Groningen.
During his studies, Hugenholtz interned with KPMG’s mergers and acquisition practice, and at private equity firm Bencis Capital Partners.
Simon van Heijst has been with the firm since the start of September. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business administration and a Master's degree in Business Information Management – both obtained at the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University.
During his studies, he interned at two consulting firms, Roland Berger and Accenture, gaining experience at the intersection between strategy, management and innovation.
Meanwhile, Linea Bingel and Menghua Prisse started as Associate Interns this summer. Bingel completed her Bachelor in Economics and Business Administration in Tübingen, Germany. During her studies, she took courses in philosophy and psychology besides her majors in accounting and finance.
Prisse just completed her first year of Engineering & Policy Analysis at TU Delft, having previously obtained a Bachelor’s in System Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management.
