Joris van Dongen joins TCS as head of financial services consulting

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has bolstered its consulting practice with the experienced Dutchman Joris van Dongen.

Appointed a partner, Joris van Dongen has been named Head of the company’s Financial Services Consulting division for the North West and South Europe region, spanning teams across more than ten countries.

Amsterdam-based Van Dongen brings over 25 years of experience of consulting and technology experience to the firm, with a focus on the financial services domain. His track record includes delivering consulting assignments, defining new digital strategies, developing target operating models, business re-engineering, system implementation and post-merger integration.

He joins Tata Consultancy Services from Capgemini, where he was leader of its Financial Services division in the Benelux. Before that, he led Cognizant’s Financial Services Consulting unit in the Benelux for three years, following a twenty year career at Accenture, where he latterly was a Managing Director in the firm’s Financial Services service line.

The role sees Van Dongen join the European leadership team of the Consulting division.
