German management consulting firm FourManagement has installed an Advisory Board.

The new Advisory Board will provide the company’s partner team – company founders Gerrit Buss and Christoph Schrader and partners Carsten Gropp and Markus Krambs – with strategic advice relating to the firm’s operations, the growth ambitions, and service offerings.

The first two members of the board are Richard Viereckl and Richard Hesch, both of whom bring an extensive track record in high-profile roles to the consulting firm. Viereckl previously spent sixteen years in the automotive sector, before transitioning to the consulting industry. Most recently, between 2014 and 2019 he served as EMEA leader of Strategy&’s Automotive practice.

Hesch meanwhile brings over three decades of experience to the firm. He spent the past seventeen years gained in the retail sector, latterly holding several senior leadership roles at wholesale company Metro. Earlier in his career he was a managing director at the Red Cross in Germany, and worked seven years for Kearney (then: A.T. Kearney).

“Richard has been very successful in various positions at Metro for over a decade and before that gained experience in strategy consulting,” said Buss and Schrader.

In the coming months, FourManagement plans to appoint other members to its Advisory Board.
