Dutch supply chain consultancy Groenewout adds trio to team

Dutch supply chain consultancy Groenewout has over the past two months welcomed three new colleagues: Etienne Teunissen, Jelmer Nomen and Chantal van Buren.

Jelmer Nomen and Etienne Teunissen both joined at the start of November and have been appointed a Consultant. Nomen focus primarily on topics including supply chain optimisation, logistics feasibility studies, tender projects and e-commerce fulfillment operations.

He joined the Groenewout from ECT Hutchison Ports, an operator of terminals in the Rotterdam Harbour, where he worked for over a decade. Most recently in the role of Senior Business Analyst, Nomen gained experience with conducting feasibility studies for logistic upgrades, analysing and optimising logistics operations, setting up operational business models, as well as business process management and business intelligence.

In his role at Groenewout, Teunissen mainly focuses on helping clients with logistics feasibility studies and the design of highly automated warehouse operations such as e-commerce distribution centers. He has extensive knowledge of sorting systems, conceptual analysis and the design of automated processes.

He joined the consulting firm from Linq Systems, a manufacturer of material handling equipment, where he spent six years as an engineer and project manager. In the role, he was responsible for the design and implementation of logistics systems for clients across the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, Chantal van Buren has joined the office management team of the supply chain consultancy. She previously held similar roles at Pink Elephant, Damen Shipyards Group and accounting firm ABAB. Having joined at the start of December, Van Buren provide project support to Groenewout’s consultants, takes care of project-related administrative tasks and supports the management team.
