BrazilShirley Tewary returns to Deloitte as a partner in risk advisory
Deloitte has strengthened the partner team of its Dutch Risk Advisory division with Shirley Tewary.
The 48-year-old Shirley Tewary previously served Deloitte for nearly three years in South Africa, where she spent her childhood and completed her master degree (at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban).
At the firm, she grew the ranks to Senior Manager within its consulting division, after which she crossed to fellow Big Four firm EY where she spent over a decade in its Advisory arm, latterly as a partner.
Over the past four years, Tewary ran her own consultancy business, focused on helping clients with financial reporting, risk & controls, governance, and accountability.
Per the 10th of January 2022, Tewary has returned to life at a Big Four, appointed a partner in the Risk Advisory division of Deloitte’s Dutch business. “Shirley will work with the existing team to bring her global experience and experience working with the C-suite to our local clients,” said Harvey Christophers, Managing Partner of Risk Advisory and formerly the Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Cape Town office in South Africa.
Late last year, Deloitte in the Netherlands welcomed Jeannette Homan to the partnership of its Risk Advisory division.
