BiiC appoints Pieter van Halewijn to lead next phase of growth
BiiC, a provider of organisational health tools to consultants, has welcomed Pieter van Halewijn to its leadership team. Appointed CEO, the Dutchman will lead the company’s next phase of growth and international expansion.
In line with its vision “making high quality consultancy diagnostics available to every company in the world”, Netherlands-based BiiC digitally empowers management consultants to be more effective in their work with clients.
BiiC’s suite of methods and tools – packaged under the ‘Business MRI’ banner – allows consultants to identify problems and opportunities at their client engagements “in a very short period of time” explained Robert Snel, who established BiiC having as a client first-hand seen how ‘smart digitalisation’ based on empathic data could add value to the art of consulting.
The Business MRI tool enables users to take a unique ‘360- degrees’ snapshot of an organisation across aspects such as leadership, digitalisation, commercial performance, openness to change, and more. With these insights, leaders can rapidly pinpoint enhancement potential and brings their plans to life.
In addition, project teams can use the tool’s visual power to outline and communicate the background of change. “Opportunities and problems are visualised in dashboards – one picture can be worth a thousand words – and as a result, everyone understands what, where and why change is happening,” said Snel.
Having onboarded around a hundred clients to its platform since its inception in 2019, including international companies, BiiC is now aiming to scale. Enter Pieter van Halewijn, who has come on board to drive this goal.
“I am passionate about growing and building international businesses. During my career I have had the privilege to work for great brands like Gillette, Braun, Oral-B, Philips and Toppits, adding to the success of these brands,” he said on his move to the start-up.
Part of his objective will be to team up with “progressive consultants” who are open to adding value through intelligent technology. “Business MRI is a very powerful product for which I see enormous potential, both in the Netherlands and abroad. In my opinion, an indispensable tool for every consultant.”
