Argon & Co bolsters ANZ presence with Pollen Consulting Group
Global operations consultancy Argon & Co has beefed up its presence down under with the bolt-on of Pollen Consulting Group, an Australian supply chain specialist.
“This represents another exciting step in Argon & Co’s expansion strategy,” said Yvan Salamon, the CEO of Argon & Co. “Pollen Consulting has made a big impact within the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market, and we are pleased that they are joining our network.”
Argon & Co already had a presence in Australia through its 2018 merger with Crimson & Co, with Pollen Consulting’s team of 40 lifting ANZ headcount to over 60 consultants and staff.
Founded in 2016, Pollen Consulting specialises in operations, with expertise spanning the end-to-end supply chain, engineering, technology and procurement. “We have the same company culture and values as Argon & Co, and it means together we can turbo-charge our resources, capability and vision to build a leading global consultancy specialising in operations strategy and transformation,” said company founder Paul Eastwood.
Under the Argon & Co mantle, the firm aims to expand further across Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, Pollen Consulting’s UK team (which launched early 2021) will be integrated into Argon & Co’s London office. “This is an exciting move for us,” said Eastwood, who will become Managing Partner of the ANZ business.
The deal is the third for Argon & Co since it roped in private equity from French investor Ardian. In August last year, the firm closed the addition of a team from Ayming, and early 2021 the consultancy purchased R&G Global Consultants.
Argon & Co has offices in Paris (headquarter), London, Abu Dhabi, Amsterdam, Atlanta, Auckland, Chicago, Dusseldorf, Lausanne, Melbourne, Mumbai and Singapore.
