Amir Rozen leads European Finance practice of Cornerstone Research
Cornerstone Research has appointed Amir Rozen as Head of the firm’s European Finance Practice. Rozen, who has been with the economic and financial consultancy for years, transferred from the firm’s office in New York to its London office.
“I am delighted that Amir has taken up the position as Head of Cornerstone Research’s European Finance Practice. His expertise in finance and accounting will enhance our ability to serve the needs of our financial services clients in Europe, and his experience in antitrust and complex disputes will complement our existing European competition and international arbitration practices,” said Peter Davis, Senior Vice President and Head of Cornerstone Research’s London office.
Amir Rozen has nearly fifteen years of experience working on complex financial economics and accounting issues, including cases in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. He has gained experience in litigation, regulatory matters, arbitration, and investigations related to a variety of financial markets, securities, damages, and accounting topics. Organisations he has served include investment banks, hedge funds and mutual funds, private equity firms and insurance companies.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Research, Rozen was an adjunct instructor in the economics department at Columbia University. He also worked as an economist at a telecommunications company in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Vice President – Rozen was promoted to the role in August 2015 – earned an MBA and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University.
Relocating from New York, Rozen now leads the firm’s European Finance Practice, which is overseen from London, where the US-origin consultancy has a team of around 30 professionals. “Amir brings great depth of experience to our finance practice in London,” said Davis.
Globally, Cornerstone Research has 700 consultants and staff across offices in Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco (headquarters), Silicon Valley, and Washington DC.
