Capgemini Invent has appointed Anne Marijn van Workum-Bakker as the new head of its Finance Transformation & Digital Core team in the Netherlands.
Anne Marijn brings twelve years of experience in management consulting and industry to the firm, gained in The Netherlands as well as in Belgium and Singapore.
In her new role, she leads the Capgemini Invent’s suite of services for the CFO agenda, spanning the entire scope of the finance operating model.
Anne Marijn also leads the practice’s digital and technology offerings – tools and solutions that can help finance functions with streamlining and optimising processes, enabling them to spend more time on value-adding activities while adding to enhanced effectiveness.
“We support our clients with modernising their finance function, bringing together expertise in business and digital transformation. This includes helping them with operating model design and implementation, performance improvement, adopting data driven ways of working, cloud transitions, and change management,” explained Anne Marijn.
Anne Marijn joins Capgemini Invent from Big Four firm PwC, where she spent the past six years in its consulting wing, latterly in the role of senior manager. Earlier in her career, she held business planning and various finance roles at Philip Morris International and Elsevier.
Commenting on her switch to Capgemini Invent, she said: “I look forward to work on finance transformations at a company that also is a real technology provider, enabling a digital-first approach to transformation and improvement.”
“I’ve been on board for two months now and have received a very warm welcome from my new colleagues. A lovely way to start my adventure!”
