PNO acquires Italian tech company Innovation Engineering
PNO has acquired Innovation Engineering, an Italian technology firm dedicated to IT and building applications for innovation processes.
With the bolt-on of Innovation Engineering, PNO welcomes a familiar team to its ranks. The two companies have been working together since the Italian company launched thirteen years ago.
Innovation Engineering specialises in designing and building applications and algorithms (including artificial intelligence-based algorithms) for the grants and innovation domains. The firm has offices in Rome, Naples and Milan.
“Since our inception in 2009 we have been working in close cooperation with PNO,” said Valeria Marino, CEO of Innovation Engineering. “For example, we built the Matchpoint, Innovation Place and the WBSO platforms, supporting PNO in better serving its clients and digitalising its internal processes.”
Paolo Salvatore, a board member at PNO, sees an important role for Innovation Engineering within the group. “In our business as a leading consulting service provider in innovation and access to R&D public funding, analysis of data and information is an essential part of the process. Innovation Engineering has a proven track record in this area.”
“In the current climate, where innovation is a critical success factor in almost every sector and market, the cooperation with Innovation Engineering therefore represents an enormous strengthening of the PNO Group’s proposition.”
