AWK, Ginkgo and Quint commence transition to Eraneos Group
A year after joining forces, consulting firms AWK (Switzerland), Ginkgo Management Consulting (Germany) and Quint (Netherlands) have announced their transition to a new name: Eraneos Group.
The rebranding of the international group will take place in two steps. First, all three consultancies will adopt ‘A member of Eraneos Group’ as a tagline under their existing brand, after which in phase two, AWK, Ginkgo and Quint will adopt the unified Eraneos Group brand.
Combined, Eraneos Group has over 900 professionals across offices in the DACH region, the Netherlands, Spain, the Americas and Asia. The group generates revenues of around €185 million.
The journey of the three consulting firms commenced in February 2021 when AWK Group (500 consultants) acquired Ginkgo Management Consulting (150 consultants). In June, Quint (250 consultants) was added. The group is backed by Munich-based investor Deutsche Private Equity.
Eraneos Group aims to grow into a powerhouse in digital transformation consulting. The brand harmonisation is according to the firm part of its Strategy 2025.
Commenting on the firm’s growth ambition, Oliver Vaterlaus, the CEO of the AWK Group (and effective September 2022 the inaugural CEO of Eraneos Group), previously said: “We are convinced that now is the right time to push ahead with international expansion at full speed. Our partner companies bring convincing, proven and sometimes even unique competencies to the table. Together, they will offer our customers even greater added value and our employees interesting development opportunities, making us even more attractive as an employer.”
Asked why Eraneos Group was picked as its new name, the firm pointed at how Eraneos resembles a new era – the brand brings together the words ‘era’ and ‘neo’. “Our new name embodies our ambition to make an impact in the digital world in which we work and live.”
