SparkOptimus appoints Rob Wiggelinkhuizen and Maurice van Heijningen
Digital strategy consultancy SparkOptimus has promoted two of its longer serving company members to partner.
Both Rob Wiggelinkhuizen and Maurice van Heijningen have been with the management consultancy for over eight years, and have during this time “shown tremendous personal growth and achieved outstanding results”, said Alexandra Jankovich, managing partner at SparkOptimus.
“Their promotion is well deserved and will benefit SparkOptimus greatly in the years to come, as we aim for further growth in the Netherlands and internally,” added co-managing partner Tom Voskes.
Wiggelinkhuizen joined the digital strategy consultancy in 2014 having previously worked for several years at Rocket Internet in Berlin, where he supported the launch and international activities of one of their disruptive ventures (which later on reached unicorn status), and for e-commerce company iBOOD.
At SparkOptimus, Wiggelinkhuizen focuses mainly on digitizing customer journeys of companies in fast moving consumer goods, retail and financial services.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed partner has also been named the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, leading people, finance, and the commercial side of the business.
Similarly, Van Heijningen joined SparkOptimus in 2013 from Rocket Internet, where he supported the launch of several internet start-ups such as Hellofresh across Europe and Asia. Earlier, he had brief stints as an intern at a boutique economics consultancy in Rotterdam (Policy Research Corporation) and at Google’s European headquarters in Dublin.
At SparkOptimus, Van Heijningen advises clients on a wide range of strategic and operational digital topics, mainly in the consumer goods and (r)etail. In a dual role, he is also leading the firm’s marketing activities.
With the addition of the duo, SparkOptimus has seven partners across its offices in Amsterdam, Zurich, and Dusseldorf.
