Strategy& hits partner milestone in Dutch office with promotions
Global strategic consultancy Strategy& has hit a local milestone in the Netherlands, following the partner appointments of Guillaume Laffitte-Rigaud and Marcel Otten.
The double promotion sees Strategy& – the strategy consulting subsidiary of Big Four firm PwC – grow its partner team in Amsterdam to 10. They lead a team of over 100 consultants and staff.
“We’re very proud to announce the election of Guillaume and Marcel to partner,” said Sander Visser, managing partner of Strategy&’s Dutch office. “We’re delighted to hit this milestone, a reflection of our continued growth and success.”
Guillaume Laffitte-Rigaud has been with Strategy& since 2015, and previously served L.E.K. Consulting for seven years. He specialises in growth strategy, go to market strategy, and mergers & acquisitions (with a focus on commercial and vendor due diligence and value enhancement).
He has extensive experience working with corporate and private equity clients in the energy, cleantech, and industrial machinery sectors.
During his career, Laffitte-Rigaud has lived and worked in Milan, Munich, Sydney, London, and now Amsterdam.
Marcel Otten joined Strategy& in 2008 after finishing his Master in Biology at the University of Groningen (he later on also obtained an MBA from INSEAD). At the time he was one of the firm’s first employees within its newly launched Healthcare practice (which was founded by former minister of healthcare Ab Klink). Today, healthcare is one of Strategy&’s key focus areas in the Dutch market.
Otten specialises in helping healthcare clients with strategy development and execution, payor-provider collaboration, restructuring and cost optimisation, and performance improvement.
The firm’s seven other partners in the Netherlands are: Jeroen Crijns, Marc Hoogenberg, Mahadeva Matt Mani, Paul Nillesen, Steven Pattheeuws, Mukund Rajan, and Gülbahar Tezel.
