Global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company has strengthened its partnership in France with three external hires – all have joined from a tier-one rival.

Benoit Gougeon and Safia Limousin both joined Bain & Company from Kearney, and have been appointed a senior partner and partner respectively.

Gougeon brings over 20 years of operations transformation expertise to the firm, with a focus on clients in the life sciences and consumer goods industries. He specialises in manufacturing excellence, creating agile and resilient supply chains, and technology enablement.

Most recently a senior partner at Kearney in Paris in charge of the firm’s national Strategic Operations practice, Gougeon spent sixteen years at the consultancy. Before that he spent five years at L’Oréal.

Safia Limousin brings two decades of management consulting experience to the firm. Following a spell at Engie she kicked off her career in consulting at the turn of the century at Deloitte. She then worked for Roland Berger, EY and Kearney, holding partner roles at all three consultancies.

Limousin specialises in engagements in the energy and utilities sectors, with a focus on services including strategy, operations, and energy transition. Most recently at Kearney, she served as the Global Leader of its Power & Utilities industry vertical.

In the second quarter of the year Bain & Company also welcomed Aude Schönbächler Chanudet to its French partnership. She joined as a partner with a decade of experience at Oliver Wyman under her belt, and previous experience at EY, Arthur Andersen and BNP Paris.

Chanudet is a member of Bain & Company’s Financial Services practice, and specialises in finance, risk, operating model, and digital transformation services to clients in the capital markets segment. She also has extensive experience with ESG transformations.

During her consulting career, Chanudet has worked in London, Mumbai, Singapore and Paris.
