Andrea Alori, Luigi Do and Beatrice Valagussa partner at Bain in Italy
Global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company has appointed three new partners in its Italian team.
The three new partners are part of the firm’s worldwide partner intake, which saw 81 company members across 37 offices promoted into the firm’s partnership effective 1 January, 2023.
The addition of Andrea Alori, Luigi Do and Beatrice Valagussa to the Italian partnership lifts the size of the national leadership group to 58, cementing Bain Italia’s status as one of the firm’s more influential offices across Europe.
Andrea Alori has been with Bain & Company since 2010 and is a member of the Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice. He advises industrial groups and private equity clients on topics including management, commercial excellence and consumer analysis. He also works with companies in the travel & leisure, and gaming sectors.
Luigi Do is a member of the Retail practice, and brings over 13 years of experience at Bain & Company to the partner team. He supports retailers (and online players) with strategy and operations, with a particular focus on category management, pricing & promotion, supply chain optimisation, store format redesign, and customer strategy.
Beatrice Valagussa joined Bain & Company in 2012, having previously gained five years of experience in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. She mainly provides strategic counsel to companies in the consumer goods industry, leading projects related to strategy, commercial excellence and portfolio optimisation. Her expertise spans multiple segments, such as consumer products, cosmetics, beauty care, beverages, food, eyewear, dairy, and consumer care.
Launched in 1989 in Milan, Bain & Company today has around 550 partners, consultants and staff in Italy. The consultancy – which is led nationally by Pierluigi Serlenga – also has an office in Rome, which launched in 1991.
