Eight Advisory adds partners Kai Karring and Florian Revellat
Eight Advisory has strengthened its partner team in Zurich with Kai Karring and Florian Revellat.
Kai Karring and Florian Revellat both join the pan-European consultancy from AFRY Management Consulting, where they served as managing director and director respectively, focused on transaction services to clients in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Leveraging their experience, the pair will now help Eight Advisory expand its line of strategic and commercial due diligence services to the energy and infrastructure sector.
“The infrastructure and energy sector has never been more critical to the Western economy, meaning our expansion into this sector could not have come at a better time,” said Eric Demuyt, managing partner of the Eight Advisory.
“Over the coming months, we will be focusing our efforts on further developing the Eight Advisory brand, capabilities and team in the energy and infrastructure sectors and adding commercial and technical due diligence capabilities to the existing expertise portfolio,” said Karring and Revellat.
Karring brings over two decades of experience to the role. During his career, he has focused on commercial and operational due diligence services on the buy and sell side, primarily for infrastructure and private equity investors. His track record in deals spans the sectors of power generation, renewables, hydrogen, district heating, water, waste, ports/terminals and transport.
Prior to Eight Advisory, Karring led AFRY Management Consulting’s global transaction service in the energy and infrastructure sectors and was managing director at Swiss Management Consulting. He started his career at Accenture.
Revellat has close to two decades of experience advising private equity and corporate clients on investments, divestments, strategies, market analysis, technology and ESG issues. He has developed extensive expertise in the energy (production, storage, distribution), water, waste and ports sectors, primarily serving mid-to-large size companies.
Prior to joining Eight Advisory, Revellat was a member of AFRY Management Consulting’s leadership team in Switzerland, and served Pöyry Management Consulting and EY, where he started his career.
Since its founding in 2009 in France by a founding team of eight partners (hence the brand’s name), Eight Advisory has grown into a consulting firm with over 750 people (including 85 partners) across 13 offices.
