Swiss consultancy Orbit36 beefs up team with senior UBS hires

Orbit36, a boutique Swiss management consultancy dedicated to the financial services clients, has beefed up its team with four seasoned banking experts.

Andreas Bitz is a veteran of Swiss banking giant UBS, where he spent over 25 years. He most recently served as Chief Risk Officer of Treasury, and before that he held the role of Chief Risk Officer for Americas in the Wealth business.

Jochen Kaduff brings a background in banking and strategy consulting to Orbit36. For the past six years, he was the Chief of Staff for GroupFinance at UBS, and prior to this, he worked at Credit Suisse, Bank Vontobel and Julius Bär. Kaduff started his career at McKinsey & Company, where he grew the ranks to associate partner level.

Daniele Ferraro is an experienced senior liquidity portfolio manager and securities trader. For 10 years, he was Head of the Liquidity Reserve at UBS. Prior to that, he held several trading and investment roles within the investment banking wing. Earlier in his career, Ferraro worked at several other banking institutions.

Ugo Lagrotta is a professional with vast experience in financial risk management covering multiple asset classes. At UBS, he led the trading teamwhich managed the structural FX exposure in Treasury ALM and he managed the counterparty exposure for UBS’ investment bank division. Earlier, he worked for oil & gas giant BP in its risk department.

Last week, UBS announced that it has selected Oliver Wyman to guide the integration process with Credit Suisse. UBS agreed in mid-March to buy Credit Suisse for 3 billion Swiss francs ($3.35 billion) in stocks.
