JP Weber buys Polish management consultancy Enky Consulting
Polish advisory firm JP Weber has bolstered its team with the acquisition of Enky Consulting, a Warsaw-based boutique management consultancy.
With around 80 staff operating out of Warsaw and Wrocław, JP Weber is one of Poland’s leading independent consultancies. The firm specialises in transactions work, spanning mergers & acquisitions, financing, and due diligence. The firm also has lines of business for restructuring, tax advisory, and legal services.
With the bolt-on of Enky Consulting, JP Weber diversifies its portfolio to also include organisational transformation services – expertise which typically comes into play after JP Weber’s current areas of focus.
“With the Enky Consulting team on board, from now on we will be able to support decision makers not only in transactions, financial, legal and tax challenges, but also in the transformation process,” said Grzegorz Piechowiak, Managing Partner of JP Weber. “It strengthening JP Weber’s position as a trusted advisor to companies at every stage of their lifecycle, regardless of the type of challenge they face.”
Founded in 2016, Enky Consulting supports its clients with topics such as project management, performance improvement, adopting lean and agile methodologies, innovation, and digital transformation. Over the past eight years, the team has grown to a size of around 15 staff, serving a roster of clients comprising over a dozen Fortune 1000 companies including Philips and Unilever.
“We have since our inception successfully completed over 80 projects for leading corporations, start-ups and public institutions,” said Michał Mądry, founder of Enky Consulting (now a partner at JP Weber).
“After 7 years of operating under the banner of Enky Consulting, we are delighted to join JP Weber, an organisation which has a history of more than 20 years and an established position on the Polish and international market. Ahead of us there are completely new opportunities for growth in the segment of digital and strategic business transformation, and post-transaction transformation.”
Enky Consulting team will continue to serve customers under its existing brand up to July 1, after which it will adopt the JP Weber brand.
Outside of Poland, JP Weber is the co-founder of Eight International, a network with over 3,600 professionals in 30+ countries. The network’s largest and best known co-founding firm is Eight Advisory, a France-headquartered group with 750 people across Europe.
