Global consulting and technology company Accenture has closed two acquisitions, welcoming Objectivity’s teams to its offices in three European countries, and Einr to its Norwegian organisation.

The acquisition of Objectivity, which closed earlier this week, sees around 900 staff join Accenture in the United Kingdom (where Objectivity is headquartered), Poland, and Germany, as well as in Mauritius.

Headquartered in Coventry, Objectivity specialises in platform engineering, cloud, and application modernisation. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“The breadth and depth of Objectivity’s engineering assets and talent will bolster our European platform engineering capabilities, providing our clients with the agility they need to redefine their businesses and industries,” said Jean-Marc Ollagnier, CEO of Accenture for Europe.

Karthik Narain, global lead for Accenture Cloud First, added: “A new wave of platform engineering is creating opportunities for companies to accelerate reinvention and value creation. Objectivity’s strong engineering capabilities and delivery experience will help our clients pivot and launch new products quickly and efficiently.”

Meanwhile, in Norway, Accenture last week bolted-on Einr, a business consulting company specialised in logistics services on the SAP technology stack. The acquisition adds a team of 42 employees to the group’s SAP practice in Norway.

Olso-based Einr (founded in 2015) specialises in supply chain management, transportation management, warehouse management and assortment planning solutions, with a focus on clients in the retail and consumer electronics industries.

Emma McGuigan, senior managing director and Enterprise & Industry Technologies lead at Accenture, said: “With the acquisition of Einr, we will strengthen our SAP supply chain and logistics capabilities, which help our clients move to more responsive, resilient and sustainable supply chains.”

Carsten Sachmann, who leads Accenture in the Nordics, commented: “The combined strength of Accenture and Einr’s experienced consultants will further enhance our market position with clients and SAP in the Nordic countries.”

Earlier this year, Accenture’s European business acquired Optimind and Bionest in France, and SKS Group in Germany and Austria.
