Corporate Business Solutions acquires HR specialist projekt0708
International SAP-focused consultancy Corporate Business Solutions has acquired projekt0708, a German IT consulting firm specialised in the human capital domain.
Headquartered in Heidelberg, Corporate Business Solutions (CBS) advises and supports clients all over the world with SAP projects. The firm has since its inception in 1995 delivered over 3,000 projects, and today, the ERP consultancy counts over 1,200 staff in 20+ offices.
The addition of projekt0708 adds around 60 staff to its team, and deepens its capabilities in the area of human capital management with a focus on the SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Concur systems.
“With the acquisition of projekt0708, we continue to drive our growth,” said Rainer Wittwen, CEO of CBS, pointing at the firm’s double-digit growth achievement in 2022 (the group’s revenue has more than tripled over the past decade).
“The knowhow of projekt0708 enables us to cover our customers’ wide range of HR topics even better and more comprehensively,” Wittwen added.
“This is a big step forward for our human capital capabilities,” added Jürgen Remmert, member of the management board and responsible for the domain at CBS. “Our existing human capital team will receive a significant boost, especially in the area of SAP SuccessFactors.”
Meanwhile, for projekt0708, the joining of forces with the international player will create “compelling new opportunities in areas such as business development, project delivery, and career prospects,” said Matthias Grün, CEO of projekt0708.
“We are now part of a successfully managed, global consulting company with strong growth ambitions and a culture that fits us. We look forward to benefit from CBS’ strong market position in the future.”
Munich-based projekt0708 has been an SAP Gold Partner since 2016, and an SAP Concur Consulting Partner since 2018. The firm will operate an independent subsidiary of CBS, alongside Leogistics and Trebing + Himstedt. Matthias Grün, Dirk Jäckel and Michael Scheffler will continue to lead the company.
