International digital transformation consultancy Monstarlab has expanded its team in Denmark with the team hire of six professionals from local player NoA Consulting.

The new team joins Monstarlab’s Strategy practice in Copenhagen, which advises clients on the strategic aspects of business transformation and improvement, before the firm’s powerhouse technology wing take over to bring digital solutions to life.

Headquartered in Japan, Monstarlab is a digital transformation partner with capabilities in digital engineering, data, cloud, emerging technologies and more. The company has over 1,500 staff in 20+ countries, with Copenhagen one of its earliest offices to launch in Europe (back in 2013).

Led by Anders Birch (the former CEO of NoA Consulting and an alumnus of Valcon, Monitor Deloitte, and PA Consulting), the crossing team further consists of Lisbeth Krogslund (ex-Valcon and Qvartz now Bain & Company), Máté Törő, Francesco Cocozza, Jakub Taptik and Mathias Qvist Petersen.

Jon Brandt Jacobsen, a Vice President in the Strategy practice, said: “We are delighted to grow our Strategy practice with the new team, almost doubling our team based here in Copenhagen. The expansion is fully aligned with our efforts to grow our strategic advisory platform to tackle some of the most pressing transformational challenges in the market through a strategically relevant, technology enabled and human-focused approach.”

The team hire comes shortly after Monstarlab went public, having listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in March this year.

In November last year, Monstarlab beefed up its consulting expertise with the purchase of Pioneers Consulting, and digital capabilities with Genieology. Both bolt-ons are based in Saudi Arabia.
