Marsh McLennan makes executive appointments in Germany
Global professional services firm Marsh McLennan has made a trio of top-level management appointments in Germany.
Appointed to lead Marsh McLennan for Germany is Achim Lüder, who becomes the inaugural member to hold the role, as part of Marsh McLennan’s strategy to improve the cooperation between its subsidiaries Marsh, Mercer, Guy Carpenter and Oliver Wyman.
Lüder has been take with overseeing the development of the four firms, and spearhead further collaboration aimed at developing innovative solutions and delivering more impact at clients. In a dual role, Frankfurt-based Lüder also leads Marsh McLennan across Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.
Martin Haep has been installed as the new German country leader for Mercer, Marsh McLennan’s business for human capital consulting, pensions, and investments. He has been with Mercer since 2007, and most recently headed the Wealth division (retirement and investment) since 2017.
Haep succeeds Norman Dreger, who spent a total of 24 years at Mercer, the last three of which in the role of chief executive officer.
Jens Florian-Jansen meanwhile has been handed the reins of Marsh, the risk consulting and insurance broker arm of Marsh McLennan. He has been with Marsh since 2009, and has been a member of the Marsh’s German management board for the past seven years.
Globally, Marsh McLennan has over 76,000 employees and generates revenues of over $20 billion.
