Strategy& appoints five new partners in Paris office
Global strategy consulting firm Strategy& has boosted its partner team in France with the appointment of five new members: Anna Cohen, Jonathan Heasman, Guillaume Jean, Laurent Magne, and Pierre-Antoine Balu.
Anna Cohen has been with Strategy& since 2007, when she joined Booz Allen Hamilton (which later became Booz & Company and in 2014 rebranded as Strategy&).
Cohen supports major clients in France and internationally with the design and delivery of their digital strategies and transformations, with a focus on the telecom, media, technology, energy & utilities, and health sectors.
Jonathan Heasman began his career as a design engineer at BAE Systems, after which he worked at Boeing where he held numerous positions in design, operations management, and complex systems integration.
Heasman joined Strategy& in the United States in 2011, and relocated to the French practice in 2020. He advises clients in the industrial manufacturing, energy and aerospace sectors on strategy, performance, operational transformations, and digitisation.
Guillaume Jean works with French and international clients (corporates and private equity funds) on growth strategy projects (strategic plan, market entry, etc) as well as on transformation programs. He specialises in the energy sector, in particular in energy transition topics such as renewable energies, hydrogen, and circular economy.
Jean joins Strategy& in 2011, following a stint as an innovation consultant at Erdyn Consultants.
Laurent Magne has been with Strategy& since 2020, having previously served the firm for five years between 2006 and 2011. In between, he worked at counterpart Alvarez& Marsal and eight years at sustainable development company Majencia.
Magne is a specialist in mergers & acquisitions operations. He is particularly involved in complex carve-out operations, spin-offs, preparation for operational takeover, post-acquisition integration and complex transformations. He mainly supports large French and international groups in the energy and chemicals sectors.
Pierre-Antoine Balu has been with PwC since 2008, and last month made the internal transfer to Strategy&. A specialist in organisational transformation, Balu helps clients with the people-side of transformation, workforce transformation, skills development, talent strategy, and purpose development.
Balu is also an expert in the financial services industry – he has led numerous projects in the sector spanning operating model transformation, process simplification, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. Prior to his time at PwC, Balu worked for several other consulting firms.
The addition of the quintet lifts Strategy&’s partnership in France to 22 people. The firm is part of PwC, and was formerly known as Booz & Company.
