BrazilDeltek named a leading ERP provider for project-based businesses
International analyst firm Nucleus Research has named Deltek an Expert vendor in its latest Value Matrix for ERP solutions.
Released annually, Nucleus Research’s assessment independently evaluates ERP vendors worldwide across a range of factors including system functionality, usability, and client satisfaction.
ERP – enterprise resource planning – sits at the heart of any IT infrastructure, providing the technology backbone for running company operations and business processes. Companies use ERP solutions to manage their day-to-day business activities in areas such as finance, procurement, project management, risk management, compliance, and supply chain.
In its report, Nucleus Research highlighted the leading large ERP vendors (minimum revenue: $500 million) across two segments: Enterprise and SMB. “Large enterprises face different business challenges than typical midmarket companies; therefore, their technology and ERP sourcing priorities are different as well,” explained Isaac Gould, Analyst at Nucleus Research.
“Where midmarket companies prioritise low total cost of ownership and quick implementations, large organisations have greater latitude over deployment time, costs, technical expertise, and administrative complexity. Instead, enterprises require ERP systems with a strong track record of uptime, a broad range of localisations, security certifications, global cloud presence, and the availability of support and professional services.”
In the Enterprise landscape, Nucleus Research lauded a total of 11 ERP providers, with Deltek ranked as an Expert provider – alongside SAP. “Deltek was named an Expert for its innovative portfolio of software and information solutions that meet the needs of large project-based businesses,” said Gould.
Meanwhile, in the SME segment, Deltek ranked as one of four Expert providers, among a total cohort of 17 leading ERP companies identified. “Deltek is able to provide advanced industry-specific functionality that is cost-effective, agile, scalable and prepares businesses for long-term growth and innovation,” Gould added.
US-headquartered Deltek provides solutions and tools to project-based businesses across the professional services and government contracting industries. The company serves over 30,000 customers, including hundreds of management consulting and IT consulting firms worldwide.
