AlixPartners hires Arnt-Philipp Hein and Constanze Freienstein

Global management consulting firm AlixPartners has bolstered its senior team in Germany with two partners: Arnt-Philipp Hein and Constanze Freienstein.

Appointed a Partner & Managing Director in its Automotive practice, Arnt-Philipp Hein has extensive experience in the sector, with a focus on e-mobility, car-sharing, alternative fuels, and charging infrastructure.

Hein previously spent twelve years at McKinsey & Company, where he latterly was a Partner and Head of its future mobility offering. He also was a member of McKinsey’s Digital Supply Chain service line. Prior to AlixPartners, he was a Managing Director at an e-mobility scale-up.

Appointed a Partner, Constanze Freienstein is a member of the Retail & Consumer practice. She comes with extensive industry experience – over the past 25 years, she worked at Lands‘ End, Hudson’s Bay, McArthurGlen Group, Procter & Gamble and Metro.

Most recently serving as CEO for Europe at Lands‘ End, Freienstein implemented an international turnaround and growth strategy. She also helped the company build out its e-commerce and omnichannel footprint.

Earlier in her career, Freienstein spent a decade at Kearney, most recently as a Principal in the firm’s American division. She specialises in topics including organisational development, supply chain optimisation, e-commerce and omnichannel, growth strategies, and digital transformation.

Hein is based in Munich, while Freienstein operates out of Düsseldorf. According to Rüter, AlixPartners is on track to grow its German business by 20% this year.
