EY has appointed Yannick Grécourt as the new Managing Partner of its Financial Services division in Belgium.
Based in Brussels, Yannick Grécourt is currently the Consulting and Digital Services leader for the firm’s Belgian Financial Services business. He now steps up to the top industry-focused role, leading EY’s full breadth of offerings (assurance, deals, consulting, tax) to banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, and a team of over 570 employees and 27 partners.
“I am thrilled to be taking on this role and leading such a high performing and talented team. I look forward to helping drive progress in the financial services industry,” said Grécourt, who has been with the Big Four firm for eight years.
Coming with a background in management consulting, Grécourt has deep expertise in strategic digital and data-led transformation. He also has experience with customer-centric and regulatory compliance transformation.
Before joining EY, he held senior roles in strategy and operations at Deutsche Bank in Belgium, worked for pharma giant AstraZeneca, and served strategy consultancy firm McKinsey & Company for five years, working from its offices in Brussels, London, Paris, and Madrid.
As part of his new role, Grécourt will become a member of EY’s executive committee in Belgium.
Patrick Rottiers, EY’s CEO in Belgium, stated: “I am delighted to welcome Yannick to our executive committee. With his wealth of expertise, drive, and strong interpersonal skills, he will make an invaluable contribution to the success of our clients.”
The previous Managing Partner of EY’s Financial Services division, Benoit Gérard, has meanwhile been promoted internationally to lead the Strategy & Transactions offering within the Financial Services division, with a remit spanning the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa regions.
