Rinaldi has joined AlixPartners in Milan (the firm’s sole office Italy), just a few weeks after the new hub in the city’s centre (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 9) was inaugurated.

“I am honoured to join a global consulting firm like AlixPartners, and a team widely recognised for its ability to assist and support companies, shareholders and stakeholders in achieving ambitious objectives, including the most critical restructuring situations,” Rinaldi said.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Rinaldi was the founding partner at Studio Rinaldi, a homegrown firm that specialises in restructuring and M&A services to clients across Italy. Under his leadership, Studio Rinaldi has grown into a 40-person consultancy.

“Paolo is one of the most recognised professionals in Italy in the management and resolution of corporate crisis situations, acting as advisor and holding roles as Chief Restructuring Officer or Commissioner in complex situations where AlixPartners has a proven leadership. His extensive experience in these specific areas will further strengthen and complement our services,” said Dario Duse, Partner & Managing Director and Italy Country Leader at AlixPartners.

Alongside his role as a consultant, Rinaldi lectures at universities and is a frequent speaker at conferences on turnaround and restructuring.

In Europe, AlixPartners has seven offices. The global consulting firm is headquartered in New York.
