Dominik Käfer joins financial services practice of Strategy&
Strategy& has added a new partner to its team in Germany. Dominik Käfer becomes a member of the firm’s Financial Services practice.
Based in Strategy&’s Frankfurt office, Dominik Käfer brings over 20 years of experience in consulting and the banking sector to the firm.
“I am delighted to join Strategy& and am looking forward to exciting new projects in the financial services industry. It is fantastic to join such a talented group of people truly caring for their clients and fully leveraging the global knowhow of both Strategy& and PwC,” Käfer said on his move.
In his role, Käfer will advise banks and other financial services institutions with topics including new business models, strategic management, risk & compliance, and operational management. He also has extensive expertise in financial crime compliance, including of anti-money laundering, fraud, corruption, and sanctions, and cybersecurity.
Prior to joining Strategy&, Käfer was a partner at Oliver Wyman, serving its Financial Services and Public Policy practices. Before that, he spent seven years at EY and BearingPoint, and in between, he held a leadership role in industry at HSBC, where he was the Global Director for Risk and a member of the Global Execution Committee in Group Risk.
