Andreas Schwabe and Richard Hell join Alvarez & Marsal

Alvarez & Marsal has boosted its senior team in Germany with Andreas Schwabe and Richard Hell. Both join from rival top-tier consultancies.

Andreas Schwabe brings over 25 years of experience in consulting, digital transformation, marketing transformation, media, data, and technology to Alvarez & Marsal.

Appointed a Managing Director, Schwabe will help Alvarez & Marsal grow its digital service offering in Germany, with a focus on the marketing and data domains. He operates out of Munich.

Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Schwabe spent five years with Boston Consulting Group, where he most recently served as a partner in its Media and Marketing Transformation practice. Before that, he successfully founded and managed his own companies and advised others on their transformation programs.

Among his roles in industry, Schwabe served as Chief Executive Officer of Blackwood Seven, a SaaS-platform that brings artificial intelligence into media attribution and allocation.

Richard Hell meanwhile has joined as a Managing Director in its Supply Chain, Operation & Procurement practice group. He also is based in Munich.

With nearly 30 years of experience in various leadership positions, Hell is a recognised expert in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defence, rail transport, and industrial production. Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, he served as Global Automotive Lead at Oliver Wyman and CEO of Shainin, a global consulting firm specialised in solving complex technical issues and improving business processes.

Hell specialises in areas such as product development, operational and quality improvement, launch and crisis management, and digitisation. He also has experience with reducing product costs and optimizing designs in various industries, as well as programs aimed at restoring supply performance and product quality.
