Eraneos appoints Astrid Rauchfuss and Daniel Ritz to board
Eraneos has expanded its Board of Directors from four to six members, as the consulting firm aims to grow its international profile and footprint.
Formed through the merger of several Western European consultancies, Eraneos today has over 1,000 consultants in 13 offices in 8 countries, with its largest teams based in Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain.
Calvin Grieder, Chairman of Eraneos, said that the board expansion aligns with the firm’s commitment to drive further growth and build out itself as a leader in the digital transformation consulting space. Both new members – Astrid Rauchfuss and Daniel Ritz – are high-profile executives and alumni of top-tier consultancies.
Astrid Rauchfuss previously spent over two decades at Boston Consulting Group, latterly as a Partner & Managing Director, specializing in strategic and digital transformations in the technology and telecom sectors. In addition, she held roles in industry, at Bell Labs, Lucent, Siemens, and Fraunhofer-Institut.
Rauchfuss also is a board member at Orcan Energy, Exeger, Neterra, and Jobline.
Daniel Ritz also arrives with a long background at Boston Consulting Group. He spent a dozen years at the strategy consulting giant, working his way up to Partner & Managing Director. In the past fifteen years, he held several executive roles in the telecom and technology sector, including serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Swisscom, Chief Strategy and M&A Officer at Etisalat, and Chief Executive Officer at Tele Columbus.
Alongside his role at Eraneos, Ritz serves on the Supervisory Board of Beyon where he represents Mumtalakat, a sovereign wealth fund from the Bahrain.
“We are delighted to welcome Astrid and Daniel to our Board of Directors. Both are experienced board members whose individual wealth of insight and strategic acumen will support our mission to confirm our group as a strong, international hub for shaping digital transformations,” said Grieder.
The three other members of the six-person board are: Oliver Vaterlaus (CEO), Guido Prehn (who represents private equity investor DPE), and Wolfgang Thiel (a former Boston Consulting Group veteran).
