After 24 years at the head of the French transport company DDS Logistics, Jérôme Bour has crossed to the consulting industry, joining Newton.Vaureal Consulting as a partner.
In his new role, Jérôme Bour will lead large-scale supply chain transformation programs at clients of Newton.Vaureal Consulting, spearhead the development of new offerings, coach teams, and support internal capability development.
Based in Paris, Newton.Vaureal Consulting is a consulting firm with around 50 staff specialized in supply chain, logistics and operations management. The firm has completed over 900 engagements since its inception in 1998.
Bour becomes the fourth partner at Newton.Vaureal Consulting, alongside Philippe-Pierre Dornier, Alexandre de la Nézière and Jean-Philippe Brousse.
“We are delighted to welcome Jérôme to the firm. His expertise and strategic vision will be a valuable asset for our clients and will strengthen our position in the supply chain consulting space” said Dornier. “He will also deepen our expertise in digital, which is a major priority for businesses today.”
Bour began his career in management consulting at EY, after which he joined DHL Express, where he worked in operations improvement.
In 2000, he was installed as head of DDS Logistics, which he managed to grow into one of the leading providers of transport management software in the French market. Last year, DDS Logistics was acquired by Generix.
