Consulting and the programme, and why they decided to come back after their internship.

“The summer internship gave me an insight into what the Consulting career at L.E.K. would look like. I got to work on an 8-week project for a Consumer client and the experience gave me the chance to learn from an experienced L.E.K. Manager and work closely with Partners from the London and Paris offices. What I enjoyed the most was being allowed to own a few workstreams of the case. On the last day of the internship, I was made an offer to return to the role after my studies, which I confidently accepted.”

“The internship opened my eyes to what being in consulting job could actually be. I thought it would be strict, but it was so relaxed, everyone was willing to help, regardless of their position in the company. People would take the time out of their day to come and chat and were actually interested in what I had to say. The number of socials also added to how much I enjoyed it. Since starting at L.E.K. fulltime I have worked on industrials cases, and a healthcare case. This is testament to how much variety you get at L.E.K.”
