Analysys Mason buys transaction advisory boutique Telescope Advisory Partners

Global TMT strategy firm Analysys Mason has acquired Telescope Advisory Partners, a German boutique specialised in and transaction support and strategy work.

Established in 2018, Telescope Advisory Partners has a team of around 40 consultants across offices in Munich and Frankfurt. The consulting firm advises corporates and private equity funds on their tech-related investments, with a focus on technologies such as software, ICT infrastructure, but also emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.

Its key services include conducting the commercial and technical due diligence during M&A processes, and providing strategic advisory around deals, go-to-market, value creation and innovation.

Bram Moerman, the CEO of Analysys Mason, said that the deal will significantly grow Analysys Mason’s transaction support offering. “We are thrilled to join forces with Telescope Advisory Partners. This acquisition represents a significant step forward in our mission to deliver unparalleled value to our clients and enhances our transaction support delivery capabilities in the DACH region.”

He added that the bolt-on will also complement its offering. While Analysys Mason is strong in the telecom side of the technology landscape, including areas such as digital infrastructure, communication towers, data centres, and internet of things, Telescope Advisory Partners meanwhile focuses on software, IT services and sustainable cities.
